We are not "Testers"

We are not a “Tester”

This project is about living beings not being “testers” for others. We are all familiar with the saying “life is a test” Yes, correct. Life gives us chance, opportunity and change. The universe works in our own favor. Every individual has their own path and that is what you should be working for daily for short- and most importantly long-term results. I’m talking about your passion. The one thing, that completely sets your soul on fire. Many of us seem to have lost their true passion and purpose in life. Due to crisis, stress, pressure, laziness or expectation of a boss, teacher or parent etc. This is all controlled and hopefully no new news to you. I really want to bring the awareness back and advise to every single precious person to connect with thyself. Now, there is a huge percentage of the world population that let themselves be controlled, fooled, manipulated and tested, without even noticing. And that’s not your fault at all. It’s the way we grow up by others influence like; news readers, politicians, teachers, lectures, trends, magazines, commercial, TV, social media and even family sometimes. What matters here is your attitude towards it. One of the keys is to evolve and grow. Change your perspective, turn the wheel and you will become the captain of your own ship.

A huge Thank you for the group of models.

Marilyn inspired me

I love the 50’s. Its photography, fashion, art and the then ideal of beauty are a source of inspiration to me. On a recent trip to Aix en Provence in France I visited Hotel de Caumont - Art Centre a fully restored private mansion from the 18th century. Its exhibition was dedicated to the iconic Marilyn Monroe.

Lots of photographs, fashion and videos were displayed. I enjoyed every second in that museum and I took it all in. It’s these peaceful moments I want to enjoy to the fullest, with the art I’m looking at speaking so loud to me.

When I got back home to Switzerland I was still thinking about the exhibition and the photographs and designs, which really blew me away. And that’s how I ended up with this modern vintage photography style & contemporary make up and accessory fusion project.

But of course, there is emotion and meaning behind these photographs. The torture of longing home, the person you love and admire with all your heart and soul. The feeling of abandonment and acceptance. The feeling of loss and gain. Thoughts torture while the soul remains peaceful and seeks for harmony.

“Something deeper than just love” Thank you. P.S I love you

My very first project to show you guys! And there are many more to come.

It was an early cold winter day in December 2017. The first snowflakes danced to the ground and I went for a walk in the forest with Toby, my wonderful Pug. And all of a sudden inspiration hit me; I decided I would do a photo-shoot in the forest when there would be lots of snow, an ideal environment to showcase an editorial make-up look.

And that’s exactly what I did 2 months later. I am a spontaneous person, and talked my good friend into the project not until the morning of the day I had picked for the photo session. Lucky as I was she was all in and could make herself available for the afternoon. So we headed out into a cold but beautiful winter day for a photo shooting.

To me, this project shows that make-up is art; it is limitless and you can go totally crazy with it. And always wear it with confidence! A huge thanks to my model and friend who played along and supported me.
